Ingredients

  • 3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t cloves
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • 3/4 cup chopped dates
  • 1 T sugar
  • 3/4 cup dried apricots, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix oats, cinnamon and cloves. Add dates, apricots and apple butter.

Mix well, until blended. Spread mixture into 8 X 13 non stick pan. Pat down to make an even layer. Sprinkle sugar over surface. Bake for 2 minutes.

Immediately cut into 2" squares, do not remove from pan. Allow to cool, go over cuts again.
