Yellow Butter Cake (Pat Hultbergs)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Cream the butter and sugar, then blend in eggs and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients and add with the milk. Divide into 2 greased 8 or 9 inch layer cake pans. Bake at 345 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until it tests done.

Can also bake in a bundt pan which may take an hour.
