Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups butter, softened (2 1/2 sticks of butter! You know they are going to be good!)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet)
- 1 cup marshmallow bits
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt and stir until dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips and marshmallow bits.
Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough onto large baking sheet and cook for 8-9 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheet for about 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Notes
I have only made these cookies with marshmallow bits and I am not sure if mini marshmallows will work, as they puff up quickly in high temperatures.
