Ingredients
- 40 saltine crackers
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups chocolate chips or 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cups nuts (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Line an 11 x 16 cookie sheet with foil.
Spray foil with Pam or grease it.
Place crackers in a single layer on the cookie sheet.
Boil butter and sugar for 2 minutes.
Pour over crackers and bake at 350 degrees until crackers float and bubble - approximately 10 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips, and return to oven until chocolate is melted.
Remove from oven, spread chocolate like frosting and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
Cool and cut while warm or place in freezer for 30-40 minutes and break like brittle.
