This is my version of the classically sophisticated Manhattan. I use Calvados as an innovative partner to the traditional Bourbon.

  • 2 1/2 ounces rye, bourbon, or blended Canadian whiskey
  • 1 ounces Calvados
  • 2 dashes bitters

Step 1

Stir the liquid ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass and garnish with a wedge of crisp apple.
