Nan's Biscuits and Gravy

This was a comfort food for me as child. My mom would serve it with fried potatoes and scrambled eggs. It took me years to perfect the gravy.

Ingredients
- 3 strips of Bacon
- or 4 Sausage links/patties
- 3 TBLS Flour
- Pinch of Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
- Cold Milk to thicken gravy
Preparation
Step 1
Fry bacon or sausage on low heat. Pour off all but 4 TBLS of grease. Add flour and stir in pan to release the drippings. Add milk using a whisk and whisk briskly. Once thickened add sugar and salt to taste.
