Ingredients
- 1 cup kosher salt
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 quarts apple juice
- 2 quarts water

Preparation
Step 1
Mix brine. Place turkey in brine. Refrigerate 12-24 hours.
Load wood chips in tray.
Preheat smoker 250 degrees
Remove turkey from brine and pat dry.
Reduce the smoker temp to 225
Place turkey in smoker for 30 minutes per pound
Remove turkey and let rest for 15 minutes before carving.
