Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb.s boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 3 sliced carrots
  • 2 ribs thinly sliced celery
  • 1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
  • 6 cups chicken stock
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups no yolk noodles
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup whole milk

Preparation

Step 1

Add first 6 ingredient and cook on LOW for 6 hours. Add 2 to 21/2 c. noodles. Cover and cook another 30 minutes on LOW.

Mix together 1/2 cup flour and 1 cup whole milk until smooth. Pour into slow cooker and cook on HIGH 1 hour more, stirring once or twice.
