Ingredients

  • 1 large box of Lemon Jello
  • 2 C. Hot Water
  • 2 C. 7-UP
  • 1 C. Small Marshmallows
  • 2 large Bananas (sliced
  • 1 C. Crushed Pineapple (drained) Save the Juice for topping.
  • Topping for Jello
  • 1 C. Pineapple Juice
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • 2 T. Cornstarch
  • 1/2 C. Sugar
  • 2 T. Butter
  • 1 Small Cream Cheese package
  • 1 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • Small amount of Coconut and Chopped nuts to top the dessert

Preparation

Step 1

Make the Jello with 2 cups of hot water until the jello dissolves. Let cool then add 7-UP, Marshmallows, Bananas, and Crushed Pineapple.

Stir all together and put in tray to chill until firm. Reserve the Pineapple Juice for topping.



Topping for Jello:

Place the first four ingredients in a pan and cook until thickened. Remove from stove and add Butter and Cream Cheese.

Let cool, and then mix in the Cool Whip gently.

Spread on the top of the Jello and then top it with Coconut and Nuts if desired.
