Mirin, (rice wine vinegar), is used in a lot of Japanese style cooking. However, you could use this in combination with apple cider for a nice pork tenderloin marinade. Other uses include incorporating mirin into your favorite barbeque sauces, salad dressings, or hummus (add a touch of smoked paprika).
