Ingredients

  • 4 cups azuki beans
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cook beans in plentiful water until tender. When water becomes low, add more hot water.
Mash beans and put through striner.
Put in a cloth bag and squeeze out all water.
Put in a large pot and add sugar and salt and mix well.
Cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
