Ingredients
- 1 # lean ground beef
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tbs dry vermouth
- 1 Tbs soy sauce
- 1-2 tsp bottled Asian Red Chili sauce
- 2 tsp packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 8 iceberg lettuce leaves
- 1 cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 red pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
Preparation
Step 1
Mix ground beef, garlic, vermouth, soy sauce, red chili sauce, brown sugar and ginger in medium bowl until well combined.
Spray large non-stick skillet with non-stick spray and set over medium heat. Add beef mix and cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until cooked through, about 3 minutes. Stir in sesame oil.
To serve, place 1/4 cup cooked beef mix in each of the lettuce leaf cups. Top each with 1/8 of the sliced cucumber and pepper. Serve at once.
For a spicier dish-serve bottled red chili sauce on the side and splash a few drops on each roll as desired.
