Ingredients
- 3 ounces angel hair pasta
- 1/2 head red cabbage -- shredded
- 6 scallion
- 8 ounce can sliced water chestnuts
- 2 Tablespoons canola oil
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
- DRESSING
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Cook pasta. Combine cooked and cooled angel hair pasta, red cabbage, scallion and water chestnuts in a large bowl.
Heat oil in small skillet. Saute almonds, sesame seeds and garlic salt. Set aside.
Whisk together apple cider vinegar and sugar in a bowl. Gradually whisk in the olive oil. Whisk in salt and pepper. Pour over salad and toss to coat. Top with almond mixture.
