City Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb Pork, boneless loin, cut into 3/4 cubes
  • 3/4 lb Beef, boneless sirloin, cut into 3/4 cubes
  • Skewers
  • 1 C flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 Egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 C milk
  • 2 C cracker crumbs
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1

Alternate beef and pork cubes on bamboo skewers.
Heat about 1/3 inch of oil in skillet over medium heat
Season the flour with salt and pepper
Whisk together the egg and milk
Dip the chicken first in the seasoned flour, then the egg/milk mix and finally in the cracker crumbs
Add to the hot oil and cook until browned on all sides\Drain on paper towels.
