Ingredients
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 14 ounces nonfat chicken broth
- 14 ounces pinto beans, canned, drained and rinsed
Preparation
Step 1
1. Saute onion-garlic in sprayed pan.
2. Add chili powder-broth. Bring to boil. Add half of beans. Cover and simmer 10 mins.
3. Puree. Add rest of beans, heat through.
