Chicken Brunswick Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 medium onions -- chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons margarine or oil
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 small chicken -- cut up
  • 1 8 ounce package frozen corn
  • 1 8 ounce package frozen lima beans

Preparation

Step 1

Place tomatoes, sauce, chicken broth, celery, onions, margarine and salt in a large soup pot. Add chicken; cover and cook for 30 minutes. Add corn and lima beans and simmer for 40 minutes.
