Ingredients
- 1 lb. Brussels Sprouts
- 3 Tb. Canola Oil
- 3/4 tsp. Salt
- 1 Tb. Honey
- 1 Tb. Tbsp. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
- 1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1.4 tsp. Dried Crushed Red Pepper
- 1/2 cup Torn fresh mint leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Heat a 12 inch cast iron skillet over medium high heat 5 minutes. Trim 1 lb. fresh Brussels Sprouts and cut in half lengthwise. Add 3 Tbsp. Canola oil to skillet and tilt skillet to coat bottom. Place Brussels Sprouts, cut side down, in a single layer in skillet. Cook without stirring, 4 minutes or until browned. Sprinkle with 3/4 tsp. salt; stir and cook 2 more minutes.
Stir together 1 Tbsp. Honey and 1 Tbsp. hot water. Stir 1 Tbsp. minced garlic, 1 Tbsp. Sou Sauce, 1/4 tsp. Dried Crushed Red Pepper and honey mixture into Brussels sprouts.
Stir in 1/2 cup. torn fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
