DESSERT - Apple Betty

Ingredients

  • 6 - 7 peeled apples
  • sprinkle cinnamon (to taste)
  • CRUST
  • 1/2 cup butter/margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour

Preparation

Step 1

Fill small casserole dish (1 1/2 quarts), 2/3 full with sliced apples adding cinnamon to taste. If apples are tart, you may want to add some white sugar.

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add flour and mix to a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle mixture over apples and pat firmly into a crust.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
