Kasha Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1 cup medium kasha
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion -- chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x5 loaf pan.

Mix first 5 ingredients. Add tomato juice and spices. Mix well (mixture will be thin) and pour into loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Let stand a few minutes before serving.
