Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine -- melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 16 ounces canned creamed corn
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup yellow corn meal
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.

Mix margarine with sugar in a large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time. Combine corn, flour, corn meal, baking powder and salt, mixing well.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Reduce oven to 300 and bake another 30 minutes.

Freezes well.
