Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup margarine -- softened
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 Tablespoon vanilla
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup mini chocolate chips
• 8 ounces semisweet chocolate -- chopped
• 1 Tablespoon shortening

Preparation

Step 1

Beat margarine, brown sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed until combined. Beat in flour just until combined. Stir in mini chocolate chips. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on baking sheet and freeze until firm.

Melt chopped chocolate and shortening. Dip chocolate chip cookie dough balls into chocolate and freeze until set.
