Ingredients
- 5 pounds potatoes -- peeled
- 5 eggs
- 5 onions -- chopped
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons salt
- 1/2 Tablespoon pepper
- egg for brushing
- sesame seeds
Preparation
Step 1
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender and mash while hot.
Saute onions. In a heavy duty mixer, mix potatoes, onions and rest of ingredients. Mix until very smooth. Add salt to taste.
Put into four 8x8 inch pans, or two 9x13 inch pans. Brush with egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 375 until golden.
