Halibut on Shredded Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pre-cooked shredded potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 7 ounce halibut filet
  • 1 lemon, cut in half

Preparation

Step 1

Place the Micro Grill in microwave and heat on high power for 2 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix together potatoes, onion, salt and pepper, and olive oil. Form into a thick patty. Squeeze juice from a lemon half on top of filet and season with salt and pepper.
Carefully remove the Micro Grill from microwave and place potatoes on grilling surface.
Cook on high for 3 minutes. Remove Micro Grill from microwave and push potatoes over to make room for halibut. Return Micro Grill to microwave and cook on high for 2 more minutes, or until desired doneness is reached.
