Ingredients
- 2 cups flour; 1 cup plain flour and 1 cup cake flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
Preparation
Step 1
Combine dry ingredients; cut in butter. In small bowl, whisk wet ingredients and add to dry ingredients to combine until moistened. Add fruit if wanted; put in scone pan with spoon and finger. Bake at 350 or 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
