she crab soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups half & half
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3 T minced onion
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 T seafood seasoning (Old Bay or Joe's)
  • 2 T flour
  • 1/2 T paprika
  • 2 t worcestershire
  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1/2 t dried thyme

Preparation

Step 1

Sautee onions in butter until soft. Add flour and stir. Add remaining ingredients except crab & sherry stirring well and bring to a slow boil. Reduce heat and add crab and sherry. Add additional warm sherry to each bowl.
