Beef Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 regular can (15 ounces) tomatoes
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 or 2 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Dash Tabasco-Worchishire sauce
  • 1 large can kidney beans

Preparation

Step 1

• Brown onion and garlic in 1 Tablespoon oil. Add meat and brown lightly. Turn down heat and add tomatoes, sauce and spices.
• Simmer for minimum 1 hour (3 hours better)
• Just before serving, add kidney beans and heat thoroughly (5 minutes or so).
