Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 regular can (15 ounces) tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 or 2 Tablespoons chili powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- Dash Tabasco-Worchishire sauce
- 1 large can kidney beans
Preparation
Step 1
• Brown onion and garlic in 1 Tablespoon oil. Add meat and brown lightly. Turn down heat and add tomatoes, sauce and spices.
• Simmer for minimum 1 hour (3 hours better)
• Just before serving, add kidney beans and heat thoroughly (5 minutes or so).
