Marie's Salad

Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 C sunflower seeds
  • 1 C almonds
  • 2 (3oz) ramen noodles
  • sliced strawberries
  • lettuce
  • Dressing:
  • 3/4 C mayo
  • 1/3 C sugar
  • 1/4 C milk
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Topping:
melt butter in pan. Add sugar and dissolve. Add seeds, almonds, and ramen noodles broken up. Cook 5 minutes. Cool.

Dressing:
combine mayo, sugar and milk. Slowly blend in vinegar and poppy seeds.

Put lettuce in bowl. Top with topping and dressing.
