Meringue Cookies

  • 4 egg whites
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tarter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt



Step 1

Beat egg whites until bubbly.
Add Cream of Tarter and salt.
Beat until stiff.
Add sugar slowly and then add the vanilla extract.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Put paper towels on a cookie sheet
Drop by teaspoonful on paper towel.

Bake @ 275 degrees for 30 minutes on the paper towels.

Remove from oven and let them cool before removing the cookies from the paper towel.
