Brenda's Veggie Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef shank
  • 1 can (1 pint 2oz) V-8 juice
  • 1/3 cup onion
  • 4 tsps salt
  • 2 tsps Worshire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Combine meat, juice, onion, seasonings, vegetables and 6 cups of water in soup kettle. Cover and simmer until veggies are tender
