Ingredients
- Salt and pepper
- 1 pound whole wheat spaghetti
- 1 inch piece fresh ginger grated
- two large garlic cloves grated
- one quarter cup dark soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- two s tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken thigh meat or breast meat are thing cup boneless pork chops cut into strips
- one quarter small cabbage very thinly shredded
- one half red Bell Pepper thinly sliced
- one bunch scallions thinly sliced
Preparation
Step 1
Bring large pot of water to a boil, add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain.
In blender combine splash of boiling water, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, honey, tomato paste, vinegar, sesame oil, and hot sauce until smooth.
In a large stir fry skillet, heat vegetable over high heat.
Add chosen type of meat and stir Fry until browned about three minutes.
Add cabbage and Bell pepper and stir fry for two minutes more, then add the scallions in ginger sauce and toss for one minute.
Pour over the drain noodles.
