Pecan Jam

Ingredients

  • 4 cups finely chopped pecans
  • 4 cups sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 4 Tbsp ground ginger
  • 4 T brown sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 4 T apple cider vinegar
  • 1 T cinnamon, if desired

Preparation

Step 1

Put in a pan large enough to hold all ingredients and allow for stirring. Heat in an open pan until all ingredients blend and turn a rich, golden color.

Can be canned in a hot water bath for 15 minutes.
