Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Hard margarine (or butter), softened
  • 1/2 x 1 1/2 oz Envelope dry onion soup mix, stirred before dividing
  • 1 cup Grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. Cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream first 4 ingredients together in bowl.

Mix in flour. If too sticky to roll, add a bit more flour. Roll out 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick on lightly floured surface. Cut with your favorite cookie cutter. Arrange on ungreased baking sheet with sides. Bake in 350°F (175°C) oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 40 appetizers, using a 13/4 inch (4.5 cm) cookie cutter.
