Ingredients
- CHOCOLATE FILLING
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate -- chopped
- 1/2 cup Rich's whip
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons cherry liqueur
- CHERRY TOPPING
- 1 1/2 cups Rich's whip
- 1 can sweet cherries -- drained and chopped
- 1 Tablespoon cherry liqueur
- 1 package cherry jello
- graham cracker pie crust
Preparation
Step 1
Filling: Place all filling ingredients into small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until melted and smooth. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate.
Topping: Place chopped cherries into a small pot. Stir in cherry liqueur and sprinkle jello on top, letting it dissolve. Stir mixture over medium heat for 3 minutes or until warm; jello should be completely dissolved. Place the pot in the freezer until mixture cools, but do not allow it to gel.
Whip the Rich's whip until soft peaks form. Fold in cherry mixture until no streaks remain. Spread over chocolate and mound up high. Garnish with chocolate curls or cherries. Serve chilled or frozen.
