chocolate peanut butter balls

Delicious peanut butter balls - like a Reese's peanut butter cup. Great gift idea! I mail these in all of my "college care packages" and "holiday boxes".

Ingredients

• 1/2 pound butter - melted
• 1 c peanut butter - smooth
• 1 c crushed vanilla wafer cookies
• 1 pound confectioners sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter. Mix in all other ingredients. Shape into small 1/2 - 1 inch balls.

Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

Can be coated with melted chocolate chips (use a double boiler) or with chocolate melting chips used to make candy.

My family likes me to just drizzle melted chocolate chips over the tops in a zig zag pattern or just serve them in the small cupcake paper liners.
