Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

These double chocolate chip cookies are similar in texture to a brownie.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 (1oz.) squares of unseetned chocolate; chopped
- 3 cups(18oz.) semisweet chocolate chips- divided
- 1/1 /2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 / 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups chopped pecans; toasted

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Combine butter, unsweetened chocolate and 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips in heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly,until butter and chocolate melt; cool.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in small bowl; set aside.
3. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla in medium mixing bowl at med. speed with electric mixer. Gradually add flour mixture to egg mixture; beat well.
4. Stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and pecans.
5. Chill for 15m. drop dough by 2 Tablespoons 1" apart on parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
6. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack to cool completely.
