Chicken Cashew

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 T. butter
  • 1/2 large onion, diced
  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1/2 large can Chinese noodles
  • 1/4 cup cashew nuts, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Saute celery and onion in butter 5 minutes. Add chicken, soup and broth. Pour into 9 in. square casserole sprayed with Pam; sprinkle noodles and cashews over top. Bake 20 minutes at 350*. Serves 6 generously. Half of small jar chopped pimiento is a nice addition for color.

Double for 12 to 15 servings.
