Ingredients
- 1 whole spaghetti squash -- cooked
- 1/2 small green pepper -- cut into thin strips
- 1/2 medium onion -- thinly sliced
- 2 packages mushrooms -- quartered
- 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil over medium high heat in a large skillet. Add green pepper and onion. Saute for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and saute for 4-5 minutes until liquid is released from the mushrooms and starts to cook off. The mushrooms should start to caramelize. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and salt. Cook for 2 minutes. Add in the tomato sauce. Stir well. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
Add to spaghetti squash.
