Rice- Mexican Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbl oil
  • 1 C rice
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 C chopped onion
  • 1/2 C tomato sauce
  • 2 C chicken broth

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil & add rice. Cook until puffed & golden. Add salt & Cumin. Add onions, cook until tender. Add tomato sauce & broth. Reduce & simmer 20-25 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
