Ingredients

  • 1 TBLSP dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 boneless beef chuck roast (3-4 pounds halved)
  • 8-10 sandwich rolls halved (I serve plain with no rolls)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine seasonings; rub over roast. Place in a 5 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender. Shred with fork. Serve on rolls.
EDITORS NOTE: No liquid is added to the slow cooker. The moisture comes from the roast.
