Ingredients
- ORANGE DRESSING
- 8 mandarin orange segments
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 Tablespoon Plus 1 teaspoo sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons balsamic or red wine vinegar
- 2 or 3 dashes Tabasco sauce
- Spinach
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 11 ounce can mandarin oranges -- (reserve 8 segments for dressing)
- 1/2 red onion -- thinly sliced
Preparation
Step 1
To make dressing, in a food processor process orange segments. Add oil, sugar, salt, vinegar, and Tabasco sauce. Process until pureed. Dressing may be refrigerated for up to 4 days. Makes 1/2 cup.
