Ingredients
- 1 cup nuts chopped (walnuts or pecans if desired)or(substitue coconut flakes for nuts)
- 3 cups quick oats
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (omit for white cookies)
Preparation
Step 1
Mix:
quick oats
vanilla
nuts or coconut
In sauce pan:
Sugar
milk
oleo
cocoa
Bring to a boil then to a rolling boil, stirring mixture.
Combine the two parts and drop teaspoon size onto waxed paper.
Cool and enjoy.
