    Chicken breast--skinned, boned, diced

  • toasted sesame seeds

  • Marinade

  • 2

    T soy sauce

  • 1

    T sherry

  • sesame oil (few drops)

  • 2

    T flour

  • 2

    T cornstarch

  • 2

    T water

  • 1/4

    t baking powder

  • 1/4

    t baking soda

  • 1

    t oil

  • Sauce

  • 1/2

    c water

  • 1

    c chicken broth

  • 1/8

    c vinegar

  • 1/4

    c cornstarch

  • 1

    c sugar

  • 2

    T soy sauce

  • 2

    T sesame oil

  • 1

    t chili paste

  • 1

    clove garlic--minced

Directions

cut chicken in to 1" cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes put all sauce ingredients in a heavy sauce pan and bring to a boil--reduce heat and keep warm--remember to stir occasionally deep fry chicken ( I have found that it is much quicker to just put in a large frypan with the bottom coated with oil) remove to paper towels to drain some of the oil off of the meat. pour sauce over chicken--garnish with seeds & serve over rice
