Ingredients
- 6 cups sugar
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 cup Instant Coffee Granules
- 1/2 cup vanilla or 2 whole vanilla beans
- 1/2 gal Vodka
Preparation
Step 1
Combine
sugar
water
coffee granuals
Add vanilla beans, if using, at this time but reserve Vanilla Extract until later in a sauce pan.
Bring mixuture to a boil, at this time simmer mixture for two (2) hours over low heat stirring occasionally.
after the simmer remove vanilla beans or at this time add the vanilla extract.
Set aside, covered, for 12 hours
after letting it set for 12 hours stir in the Vodka.
Store in dark containers
