PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Preparation

Step 1


Cream sugars, salt, butter and peanut butter. Beat in egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Sift together flour and soda. Blend into creamed ingredients gradually. Form into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. With floured fork, make a criss-cross design to flatten cookies.

Bake at 40 for 6-7 minutes or until light brown around edges. Makes 6 dozen cookies.
