Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1/4 c cornstarch
  • 2 T orange juice
  • 1 t grated orange peel
  • 2 c fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 2 fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 c old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 c cornflakes
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/4 c butter--melted

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, orange juice, orange peel and berries until blended. Bring to a boil--cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thick and bubbly.

pour into a greased 8 inch square baking dish

In a bowl combine the oats, cornflakes, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir in butter. Sprinkle over the berry mixture.

Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until filling is bubbly.

Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
