PB Chocolate Chip Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
  • 12 oz (2 cups) semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 inch pan.

Beat together eggs, water, butter, peanut butter and half of the dry cake mix. Mix until light and fluffy.

Stir in remaining cake mix and the chocolate chips - dough will be stiff. Spread dough in prepared pan.

Bake 30 - 35 minutes, or until bars begin to pull away from side.

Cool briefly, then cut into 30 bars.
