    eggs

  • 5

    cups Four roses flour (Walmart or Randazzos)

  • 6

    tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt to bless

  • 3

    tsp. pure vanilla

  • 1/2 to 3/4

    of milk (2%)

  • 1

    cup of sugar

  • 1 1/2

    cups crisco

    -3 cups powder sugar 1 tsp margarine

    -1 tsp vanilla

  • -Milk about 2 tbs to start

Directions

Directions Crack the eggs in a seperate bowl (must be room temperature). Set aside. Put flour in a bowl with baking powder, mix lightly. pinch salt to bless in a croos. Set aside. Measure out crisco. Put in a kitchenaid mixer bowl. Put sugar/ vanill in too. Pulse 3 times then on high to combine. Add one egg at a time. Mix after each one. Scrape sides. Mix a little. This is soupy looking. Add milk slowly while mixing. Add dry ingredients. Mix in mixer on high until it blends together. Get everything off the mixer attachment. Put onto a board with flour. The dough at this point is sticky. Put some flower on your hands to help dry the dough out a little. Knead the dough a little, not to much. Not to hard or to soft. Do not hold dough to long, it gets greast. (After Kneading the dough can be made into loaves and froze). Roll the dough into a rope and opinch into an S Shape. Put on a pan and bake for 10 minutes at 375. *To make by hand: make a flour well and mix by hand (like pasta) Directions for Frosting Mix all ingredients in a bowl add milk as you go until desired thickness is acheived. Looks like cake frosting, but drips off mixer. Apply to cooled S cookies.
