Pasta alla Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 1 package of thin spaghetti
  • 4 strips bacon, chopped, cooked well done
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Place bacon in frying pan and cook until crisp. Set aside. In another frying pan place butter, garlic and onion fry until opaque. Add whipping cream and cook until thickened slightly. Beat egg and cheese in abowl along with black pepper.
