Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 cup cornflake crumbs
- 1/3 cup minced parsley
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup catsup
- 2 tablespoons minced green onions, including tops
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 can (16 oz) whole cranberry sauce
- 1 bottle (12 oz.) tomato-based chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon each firmly packed brown sugar and lemon juice

Step 1
1. In a large bowl combine beef, crumbs, parsley, eggs, pepper, garlic, catsup, green onion and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly than shape into 1-inch balls and arrange slightly apart on an ungreased 10 by 15 inch rimmed baking pans. Bake uncovered in a 500 degree oven until lightly browned, 5 to 7 minutes.
2. In a 2 to 3 quart pan combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, sugar and lemon juice. Place over medium heat and still until melted and bubbling, about 3 minutes.
3. With a slotted spoon transfer cooked meatballs to a serving dish; pour sauce over meat. Place over heat to keep warm.
