Ingredients
- 2 - 2 lbs - lean pork - cut into 1 inch cubes
- 3 - 3 tablespoons - butter
- 1/4 - 1/4 cup - water
- 2 - 2 (13 1/4 oz) can undrained pineapple chunks
- 1/2 - 1/2 cub - firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 - 1/4 cup - chopped onion
- 1/4 - 1/4 cup - cider vinegar
- 2 - 2 tablespoons - corn starch
- 2 - 2 tablespoons - soy sauce
- 1/2 - 1/2 teaspoon - salt
- 3/4 - 3/4 cup - green pepper strips

Preparation
Step 1
- Brown meat in butter.
- Add water, cover, and simmer for 1 hour
- drain
- Drain pineapple (reserve 1 cup of syrup.
- Combine syrup, sugar, vinegar, cornstarch, soy sauce and salt.
- Cook 10 minutes.
- Pour sauce over pork
- Let stand for 30 minutes
- Add Pineapple, green peppers and onion. cook 3 minutes
